Voxalot Call Connection allows you to determine how all incoming calls are connected, based on a combination of inbound caller ID (CID), day of week and time of day.
Voxalot allows inbound calls to be connected to fixed line numbers, voicemail and SIP URI's based on a set of rules. Members set up Call Connection rules by entering the following details:
- Priority - Defines the order in which the call forwarding rules are executed based on achieving a match.
- if the inbound number - "is any", "equals" or "begins with"
- Number Pattern: enter number pattern to match rule above
- Day - Day of the week, Every Day, Weekend
- Start Time - for call forwarding rule to be executed
- End Time - for call forwarding rule to end.
- Active - Status of rule whether it is active or inactive.
- Forward inbound Call to - Phone Number, Voice Mail, sip URI.
- Forwarding Number / Provider - The number the call is to be forwarded to. Calls can be forwarded via the members dial plan or selected provider.
- URI - The SIP URI to forward the call to (if the URI option is selected).
To Add a Call Connection rule, click on the Call Connection menu item and select Add from the Call Connection List Screen.
To edit a rule click on the [Edit] link and the Call Connection form is displayed. To Delete a rule click on the [Delete] link and the Call Connection rule will be deleted after a confirmation prompt. Rules can be disabled or prevented from executing by setting their Active status to No.
The Inbound CID Pattern can be used to allow calls that match the caller-id to be sent to another phone number, voice mail or SIP URI. Note: In the future a do-not-forward call option will be added.
